Hi,
If you have a list of all shortkeys provided my Windows, then paste it here. I really want to know all shortcut keys for windows. |

Following is the list of key which are commonly used for shortcut.
Using Documents:
CTRL + ASelect All
CTRL + XCut highlighted text
CTRL + CCopy highlighted text
CTRL + VPaste highlighted text
CTRL + BBold highlighted text
CTRL + IItalicize highlighted text
CTRL + UUnderline highlighted text
CTRL + ZUndo last change
CTRL + SSave active window
CTRL + FOpen the find window
CTRL + PPrint the active window
CTRL + WClose the active window
CTRL + QQuit the active program
CTRL+ARROW(U/D)Jump cursor to start of line
CTRL+ARROW(L/R)Jump cursor word by word
CTRL+SHIFT+ARROW(L/R)Highlight word by word
CTRL+SHIFT+ARROW(U/D)Highlight line by line
Using Windows:
ALT + Repeat Click TABSwitch windows
ALT + ESCSend current application behind any other open windows
ALT + F4Close active window
ALT + SPACEOpen active window file menu
ALT + Print ScreenCopy active window to clipboard
PRNT SCRNCopy screen to the clipboard
F1Open active program help files
F3 (from Desktop or Win Explorer)Open "Find All Files" window
SHIFT (hold) during start-upPrevent items in the Startup folder from running
SHIFT + DELPermenently delete a file by bypassing the Recycle Bin
CTRL + ESCOpen windows start menu
CTRL + ALT + DEL (twice)Restart windows if frozen
Using Your Browser:
ALT + ARROW-RIGHTDisplay the next page (Forward).
ALT + ARROW-LEFTDisplay the previous page (Back).
SHIFT + TABReverse tab in forms
CTRL + DAdd current page to Bookmarks/Favorites
CTRL + RReload page
CTRL + FOpen find window

Thanks denny. This is really great reply. Today i found number of shortcut keys which i never used before. This list is very useful.

Hi,
To check properties of any file or document select it and the click Alt + Ctrl. + Enter. |
