Hi all,

From couple of days my computer works slow. When i look in Task Manager i see wscntfy at the top which uses most of CPU Usage. Is this (wscntfy.exe) virus or anything else? This wscntfy.exe not allow me to End Process. I am very confused what to do with this wscntfy. wscntfy.exe is a spyware or else? How do i fix wscntfy.exe.exe?

Please help me fix wscntfy.exe ?

hello all,

The wscntfy.exe process belongs to Windows XP's Service Pack2. This process nag you about your Virus security settings like firewall, virus protection and automatic update.

If you want to fix wscntfy.exe then go to control panel >> Security Center >> look at left bar where you see a bit of text >> Change the security center alerts me at bottom >> Click on this >> Uncheck all three settings.

This process is located at C:\WINDOWS\System32\wscntfy.exe.
