Guys,
I was also getting
LSASS.EXE : 60 Second System Shutdown Problem
I dont know this wil help you but i have one suggestion to remove this lsass.exe error
Check your Registry :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run
Also check your TCP / IP Port. Search TCP / IP on Registry. Set the port to 0.
If you find LSASS.EXE Removal Tool then please reply to this post.
Regards,
Mike. |

Follow following steps to stop this 60 second shut down problem : Lsass.exe is major issues for Windows XP user. I also had same problem but after installing Zonealaram i fix this problem. I highly recommend you to install Zonealarm in your system. Zonealarm is free.
Also to stop 60 second count down go to Start Menu and click on Run and type Shutdown -a and then press enter.

Check Your Registry Setting
Check your registy setting because Lsass.exe : 60 Second Shut Down Problem also effect on your registry setting. You TCP / IP Port may be blocked by lsass.exe error.
To check your registy :
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Run
- Otherwise search “TCP/IP port” on Registry. Set the port to “0”.
Now you can that the error occurs or not.
Good Luck. |

Hi,
I read some article about lsass.exe error. Finally i got to the point this lsass.exe is deals with local security and login policies. Lsass.exe verifies the validity of user logons to your PC or server. If authentication is successful, lsass generates the user's access token.
This lsass.exe is located at c:\windows\System32\lsass.exe.
The Lsass.exe process is responsible for the following components:
Local Security Authority
Net Logon service
Security Accounts Manager service
NTLM authentication protocol
LSA Server service
Kerberos v5 authentication protocol
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

Hello Morgan,
The main symptoms of lsass.exe are :
(1) Your computer shut down frequently.
(2) Your computer work slow.
(3) Your computer restart without your input.
Also lsass.exe create two files. The original one is lsass.exe where first letter is l(L) and one is duplicate file Isass.exe where first letter is capital I(i). And you cant diffrentiate them which one is original. If you remove original one then it will cause some serious problem. So, contact any hardware engineer and he can remove duplicate lsass.exe file from your computer. Never try your self to remove lsass.exe.
Take care. |
