Svchost - Svchost.exe - what is this??

Hi all,

From couple of days my computer works slow. When i look in Task Manager i see Svchost at the top which uses most of CPU Usage. Is this (Svchost.exe) virus or anything else? This Svchost.exe not allow me to End Process. I am very confused what to do with this Svchost. Svchost.exe is a spyware or else? How do i fix Svchost.exe?

Please help me fix Svchost.exe ?

Hello,

The svchost.exe is located at %SystemRoot%\System32 folder. Svchost.exe must check the part that construct a list of service that must load. I dont think svchost.exe harm anymore your computer. It helps group of service so that separate service can be run depending on how and where svchost.exe is started.

If you think svchost.exe harm your computer then please reply me and i will give your suggestion which help you to fix this issue.

svchost process launches a list of services. Four to five svchost is normal. The same svchost virus is circulate on internet and it will harm your computer. To avoid svchost virus entering in your system use updated version of any antivirus software.

I have serious problem with Svchost.exe. This process not allow me to copy and paste any document. Also i have three computer in network connected. I cant access this computer after svchost.exe popup. I am very frustrating from svchost. Please reply me so i filter out svchost from my computer.

Virus make one same process as svchost.exe and it will be virus. To fix this virus use any updated antivirus software. If svchost detected as virus then go ahead remove it from your system.

I am using avast and avg antivirus. I also using Firewall and Zone alarm pro on my computer. This means my computer is totally protected from anyvirus. I also set auto update when i start my computer day by day. So i got updated virus protective software. And zonealram will not allow some unwanted process that run in backend. I suggest you to use avg, avast antivirus and also firewall and zonealarm that remove any spy ware and adware. These are also helpful to remove svchost virus from your computer. Use updated version of antivirus. Just go ahead and download all the antivirus to fix svchost virus or any other kind of viruses.
