Hi,
keyword means any word or phrase for which you want to search for. For example your are looking for ISP yor keyword may be ISP Provider, ISP Directory, ISP Guide, Internet Service Provider, Internet Service and more. These all are keywords. Use any search term which you like and think it will be close to your search it will be a keyword.
Means, you can use any word but there are number Keyword suggestion tools available on net like
http://www.instantposition.com/
http://inventory.overture.com/
