I installed Windows XP on my office computer. Before some time i am not able to stay on computer for some time and then my computer restart after every 60 seconds. I run antivirus software without luck. I found the error is Lsass.exe.
I tried hard to remove lsass.exe : 60 second shut down problem. But i cant found any solid reason to remove lsass.exe. I am very frustrated of this error. I dont want to format my computer.
If any one found the solution for lsass.exe error then please guide me how do i fix this 60 second shut down problem. If i downlaod a patch it will help me fix this?
Any kind of help will be appericiated.

Hi,
lsass.exe is a system process used by microsoft. This process support security mechanism.
First you need to remove sasser worm removal tool. Just click on the following link
Sasser worm removal tool
After running this removal tool for sasser worm you need to replaced lsass.exe from anyother windows XP or 2000 system in C:\WINDOWS\system32\Lsass.exe.
lsass.exe is not virus but virus replace small "l" with a capital "I" and you cant differentiate it.

I am very confused about lsass.exe 60 second shut down. I read some forum and they said that this is not a virus but its only windows corrupted file. And in some forum i found that this is virus and must be removed. I also read some forum that state that lsass.exe is not lsass.exe but it is Isass.exe what is this? I am totally confused about lsass. Is this virus or anything else?
Please help me.
Thanks for any help in advance. |
