Hello,
wps file extension sometimes uses by some version of Word. And for other converter is used. One extension for Microsoft is WP6RTF.EXE.

What is wps file stands for? I dont know why you need to open wps file? What is the purpose of wps file?

| To open .wps file, open word and click on file and then click on open. Now in Files of type scroll down to Works 2000(*.wps). This is simple way to open .wps file. |

Hi!
I wonder if this works for documents with WPEntrust? I transferred (using a CD-R) my documents from my old computer which used ME to my new computer which uses XP and I can't open some documents. One in particular I really need to open is now called a WPEntrust Signed Document, nothing I've tried works except it will sort of open in Notepad although it's weird and missing some text and has rows of weird graphics like smiley faces. I'm not a "tech" person, so this has me stumped. Thanks! |

Hello,
Sorry. There is no way to recover this file. I think this file corrupted and you cant open this documents. If you seriously want to retrive your data then contact any datarecovery company. One company i know which may be useful for you

I visited number of sites and not found correct answer for wps file.
I just know that WPS is a Microsoft Works file extension.
Anybody here explain me how to open wps file.
